Welded Wire Mesh

Steellong can supply welded wire mesh and wire products electro polished and powder coated after manufacture. Welded stainless mesh is strongly recommended where extreme cleanliness is important, for example in the food, pharmaceutical and electronics industries.

We are very experienced in producing and exporting welded wire mesh, especially heavy type welded wire mesh woven with thick wire diameter.

We supplies good quality heavy type welded wire mesh for customers in the USA and other countries.

Resistance welded at each intersection, welded wire mesh permits larger openings with smaller diameter wire than woven wire. Rigid welded construction offers outstanding performance when galvanized or powder coated. Since intersections are fixed in place, broken paint seals due to wire migration are eliminated.

Wires running the length of the sheet (warp wires) provide the foundation for welded wire mesh. Shute wires are positioned perpendicular to the warp wires and when welded create square or rectangular patterns. Wire placement determines pattern size and style.

Our standard range of mesh is held in 304 quality from ¼" X ¼" mesh from 21 swg (0.8mm) wire, to 2" x 2" mesh from 10swg (3.1Smm) wire. Within this range we hold stocks in rolls of various widths for the lighter meshes, and panels 8ft x 4ft and 6ft x 3ft for the heavier meshes.

Many non-standard meshes are also manufactured to special order within the wire diameter range from 18 swg (1.2mm) up to ½" (12.5mm). Both these and standard meshes can be supplied spot welded to heavier gauge rod frames.

Steellong offers welded wire mesh and welded wire cloth in a variety of wire diameters, standard and custom sizes and configurations. Welded wire can be purchased in sheets, panels cut to size or infill panels framed to your specifications. We provide short leadtimes for non stock items.
